Recommendation:
That Council proceeds with notice to the owner or occupier as follows:
1. that the owner or occupier has thirty (30) days to effect a clean up
of the property situated at 1106 Lockley Road, Esquimalt, BC;
and
2. that if the work is not completed to the satisfaction of the
Township of Esquimalt within such thirty (30) days, the work will
be done by the Township of Esquimalt, or by its authorized
agents, at the expense of the owner;

Recommendation:
That Council approve that activities related to Council Policy Plan27
requirements for Testing/Capping/Works and Services for 1223 Bewdley
Avenue be varied such that the following are not required for Demolition
Permit BP013442 and Building Permit BP013443 only: test/clear,
capping, new sidewalk, replacement curb and gutter and replacement
asphalt to centre line of road, except as required for a new driveway
access, resulting in the return to the property owner of approximately
$12,000 of the security provided; with all other Works and Services
required under Bylaw 2175 and Council Policy Plan-27 remaining in
effect.

Community Consultation Regarding the Proposed Siting of
Canada Post's Community Mailboxes - Update, Staff Report

Recommendation:
That Council authorizes the Mayor to write a letter to Mr. Deepak
Chopra, Chief Executive Officer and President of the Canada Post
Corporation requesting that Canada Post develop and implement a
meaningful community engagement process related to the proposed
siting of community mailboxes in Esquimalt, and furthermore, that a
copy of the letter be sent to Mr. Randall Garrison, Member of
Parliament, Esquimalt - Juan de Fuca.

DEVELOPMENT VARIANCE PERMIT - 790 Dominion Road PID 001-442-201 Lot 1, Section 10, Esquimalt District, Plan

Recommendation:
That Council resolves that Development Variance Permit No. DVP00032
authorizing the development as shown on site plan prepared by Eric
Barker Architect Inc. stamped “Received January 22, 2015” and
including the following relaxations to Parking Bylaw, 1992, No. 2011, be
approved, and staff be directed to issue the permit and register the
notice on the title of the property located at 790 Dominion Road [PID
001-442-201 Lot 1, Section 10, Esquimalt District, Plan 29060]
Parking Bylaw, 1992, No. 2011, Section 13(1)(a)(iv) - Parking
Requirements - Number of Off-Street Parking Spaces - a reduction
to the number of required off-street Parking Spaces, from 33 spaces to
30 spaces [ie. from 1.30 spaces per dwelling unit to 1.20 spaces per
dwelling unit].
Parking Bylaw, 1992, No. 2011, Section 14(4) - For one parking space
abutting an existing wall the minimum stall width shall be increased by
0.2 metres instead of 0.3 metres. [ie. a 2.6 metre wide space instead of
a 2.7 metre wide space located against a wall]
