Students of Color Retreat 2015
Students of Color Retreat 2015
Friday to Sunday May 1st 3rd, 2015 YMCA Grays Harbor Camp Bishop in Shelton, WA Thank you for your interest in this year’s annual Students of Color Retreat! This year the retreat is sponsored by the Asian Pacific Islander Coalition of The Evergreen State College. This is an opportunity for students of colors to connect through exploration and discussion of critical issues while building an intimate sense of community. We hope participants will have a chance to engage in selfreflection and fun in this relaxing environment. The weekend will be filled with group activities, breakout discussions, and more while we take in the beautiful cabin and lake environment. It is also an opportunity for students to work on selfempowerment, learn leadership tools, and develop initiative for taking on active roles in many parts of their lives. We will be providing lodging to Camp Bishop and
limited
transportation for admitted attendees. We ask that attendees pay a $25 camp fee intended to cover food for the retreat days. Note that spots are limited,
so first come first serve! Timeline:
