THE DAY
DEATH
DIED
Pastor Bob Fuller will lead a
Good Friday Prayer Service
at 3:00 pm this Friday in the sanctuary.
The gospel of Luke says that at 3:00 pm Jesus cried
out saying, “Father, into Your hands I commit my
spirit!” And having said this He breathed His last.
Come join us as we remember our
Lord’s passion and prepare for the
celebration of His resurrection.
There will be no Wednesday evening programs on April 1 and 8.
Adults:
The last session of "Guardrails" will be held on Wednesday, April 15.
WenZday KidZ:
We will do our skit on Wednesday, April 15th (the Wednesday night after Spring Break).
If you have registered for Camp Fellowship or plan to register please let Margaret or John Shearouse
know so the Fairview discount may be applied to your balance. If you have questions, please contact the
Shearouses. Registration must be completed by April 25 to receive the Fairview discount.
Fairview’s Annual Eggstravaganza
RAIN OR (preferably)SHINE!
Saturday, April 4
11:00 am – 1:00 pm
Featuring:
An Egg-Normous Easter Egg Hunt, Lunch,
The EggsChange Mall,
Photos with the Easter Bunny,
and Fun-filled Fellowship!
But most importantly, we will share The Easter Message.
We are declaring April to be Toy Month for the Christmas Child Operation Shoebox project. Next week
most retailers will put Easter basket goodies on clearance. It will be a great time to pick up small toys for
the shoeboxes. You may place your donations in the collection bin outside the church office.
There will be NO YOUTH GROUP on Sunday, April 5 or Sunday, April 12.
April Meetings:
Committees will meet as needed. The Deacons and Session will meet jointly on April 20th.
There are openings in the Prayer, Praise, and Paint Group (watercolor class under direction of
Thomas Needham). The class meets on Wednesday mornings, 10:30 am – 1:30 pm in the multi-purpose
room downstairs. If interested, contact Helen McKenney at 803-279-4087 or [email protected].
FLOWERING OF THE CROSS
All children (and adults, too) are invited to gather outside the sanctuary Easter
morning at 10:40 for the Flowering of the Cross. Everyone is invited to bring
flowers for the children to decorate the cross. The children will be released from
their Sunday School classes early to participate in this meaningful ceremony,
reminding all of us of the new life offered us by Jesus’ death on the Cross.
Flower Calendar Openings: May 31, June 14, 28 Call the church office (803-279-6441) to reserve
your date. If you are not taking your flowers, notify the church office!
Graduation Is Coming Soon. If you have a high school graduate that you would like recognized, please
send [email protected] his or her information no later than May 3rd. (College graduate
information may also be submitted by this date.)
Community Ministry of North Augusta will celebrate CMONA Sunday later this month. As you hustle
and bustle all about with the Easter celebration and Masters Week Activities, keep CMONA somewhere
on your screen. Providing emergency support to needy families continues, even during times of
celebration. We exist only because you care. CMONA Sunday is the one day annually that we highlight
our needs to the member churches and the community at large. For many of our member churches that
event will occur on Sunday, April 26. Keep us in your prayers.
Attention All Church Key Holders: When leaving the building and activating
the alarm system, please make sure the LAST DIGIT you enter is a 2.
