Turning Down the Heat - Fairview Honors Program
What is causing stress among our high ability students? What specific
skills can parents impart to help their children make good choices and
manage their anxiety? Academic success and extracurricular activities
may be important, but are not always indicators of success in college or
happiness later in life. We need to help develop more than just
academic achievement and creative talent in our children.
Turning Down the Heat:
Parenting to Reduce Stress
for High Ability Students
A conversation with Terry Bradley
Fairview’s Talented & Gifted Advisor
(including a presentation on perfectionism by senior Ari
