We want to extend a special invitation to you to be involved in the 17th
Annual Blue Ribbon Rally Classic Car & Bike Show & Swap Meet. Through
last year’s event, Family Guidance and Outreach Center was able to touch
the lives of many:





Over 10, 000 people attended the Blue Ribbon Rally in 2014
FGOC offered 93 free parenting and anger management classes,
impacting over 2,500 adults and children
Presented anger management training to over 3,000 children ages
3 to 18
Presented self-esteem, life skills and peer pressure curriculum to
over 300 5th grade girls
Provided Preventing Shaken Baby Syndrome Education to more
than 2,300 adults and children
In order to provide these programs to the public, free of charge, we need
your support to help keep it possible. Last year’s event raised over $90,000
to prevent child abuse and neglect across the South Plains. We would love
your partnership and participation in this year’s rally, Saturday, April 25,
2015 from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., in Lubbock’s Historic Depot
Entertainment District. If you are interested in being a part of our fight to
prevent child abuse and neglect, please view the 2015 Blue Ribbon Rally
Vendor Application Form that is attached to this letter. Vendors are
accepted on a first-come-first-serve basis, starting January 9, 2015. We
look forward to seeing you at the event.

Vendor Booth Terms of Agreement
1) The below, herein referred to as the Exhibitor, agrees to lease space for the Blue Ribbon Rally Car & Bike
Show from Family Guidance & Outreach Center of Lubbock, herein referred to as the Producer. This Car
& Bike Show will take place on Saturday, April 25, 2015, in the Depot Entertainment District in Lubbock,
Texas.
2) Booths must be self-contained. Producer will not provide electricity, water, tables, or chairs.
3) Food permits are required for all booths selling food. If you need to obtain a temporary food permit
contact the Environmental Health office at (806) 775-2928.
4) This application for exhibit space, duly signed by the Exhibitor and returned with payment, shall upon
acceptance by the Producer constitute a valid and binding contract. All applications must be fully
completed and must state all products and services to be represented in the booth.
5) Exhibitor hereby agrees to accept, use, and pay for the exhibit space listed above. Exhibitor agrees not
to sublet or apportion space to anyone else and to abide by all the rules and conditions set forth in this
agreement.
6) All agreements and payments are due by April 1, 2015. Acceptable forms of payment are check or
credit/debit card. Checks can be made payable to the Family Guidance and Outreach Center of
Lubbock.
7) If an Exhibitor chooses to cancel his or her vendor booth agreement on or after April 1, 2015, payment
will NOT be refunded. Deadline to reserve a vendor spot is April 10, 2015.
8) Exhibitor agrees to accept space assigned. Exhibitor will be notified of vendor space assigned on or
before April 15, 2015.
9) Exhibitors will staff their booths from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Exhibitors will be responsible for the
delivery, handling, setup, and removal of their own displays. Exhibitors must set up booths between
the hours of 6:00 a.m. and 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 25, 2015. All booths must be completely
moved in and set up by 9:00 a.m. on the day of the event. All booths must be broken down and all
Exhibitors must be out of the Depot District by 7:00 p.m. on the day of the event.
10) Family Guidance & Outreach Center of Lubbock cannot and does not insure against loss or damage of
property or in transportation to and from exhibit area. Exhibitor agrees to protect, indemnify, and hold
harmless the Producer and the City of Lubbock from any and all liability, loss, damage, or expense by
reason of injury sustained by any persons or property of loss which occurs in or about the facility by the
Exhibitor or by his employees during move-in, move-out, or exhibition hours.
11) When acts of God, including weather, strikes, work stoppages, or any other cause not within the control
of the Producer makes it impossible for Exhibitor or any of his materials to occupy the show premises, or
the show fails to happen, then in such case, Family Guidance & Outreach Center of Lubbock, its officers,
and its employees are jointly released from any and all claims which may arise in consequence thereof.
12) It is the obligation of the Producer to provide an area for the exhibit space for the duration of the show
only.
13) The purpose of this event is to provide a day of family-friendly fun and to raise funds to prevent child
abuse and neglect and to strengthen families. Accordingly, Exhibitors will avoid conspicuous display of
any messages or graphics that may be considered inappropriate for young children.
14) *The Producer makes every effort to maximize all of the Exhibitors’ sales by preventing duplication of
products and services at this event; however, duplication occasionally occurs. It is the Exhibitor’s
responsibility to inform the Producer of any changes made to the products that will be sold during the
event. The Producer reserves the right to shut down Exhibitors who do not comply. Please keep in
mind that promptly submitting your Vendor Booth Agreement (this document) and payment in full
will assist you in securing exclusivity.
15) Exhibitors will be prepared with enough monetary change in order to continue to be functional for the
entire duration of the event. Exhibitor will have a set plan to acquire more change during the event if
they run out at any point. The Producer is not required to provide additional monetary change.
16) *Family Guidance & Outreach Center (FGOC) holds the exclusive rights to all carbonated beverages
sold during the duration of this event (i.e. sodas). This event is the main fundraiser for FGOC. This
action has been set in place in an effort to raise additional funds for this organization. There will be
stations set up throughout the Depot Entertainment District with these drinks for purchase. The
Producer reserves the right to shut down Exhibitors who do not comply.
a. Food vendors will be allowed the sale of water, tea and lemonade.
17) Ice will be for sale on a first-come, first-serve basis to the Exhibitors needing ice the day of the event.
18) Exhibitors are not allowed to conduct fundraising for other charitable organizations during the 2015
Blue Ribbon Rally Classic Car & Bike Show.
****Please note: vendors will be placed in the order in which we receive completed vendor booth
agreements (this document) and payment in full. If the vendor booth option you have selected is no
longer available when we receive your agreement and payment, we will notify you as soon as possible
so that you may make an alternate selection.****
