 FIA ERC JUNIOR CHAMPIONSHIP 2015: Summary of regulations
Cars: Group R2 cars complying with Appendix J, Art. 260 of the FIA regulations can be used.
Eligibility: Drivers must be born on or after 1 January 1988 having not competed in a WRC
event with P1 status previously.
Entry fees: Drivers should expect to pay no more than 1000 Euros in entry fees on each event.
Fuel: Only pump fuel from a nominated source can be used.
Points and prizes: Points are allocated to the 10 highest-placed eligible drivers according to
the final classification as follows: 25-18-15-12-10-8-6-4-2-1. Leg bonus points will also be
awarded on a scale of 7-6-5-4-3-2-1 to the top seven eligible drivers at the completion of each
leg. Drivers count their best four scores from six rounds. Subject to confirmation, the ERC
Junior champion for 2015 will receive a drive in an R5 car on the final round of the 2015 ERC.
Promotional activities and training: Championship promoter Eurosport Events will organise a
number of promotional activities and training sessions during the course of the season. Drivers
will be expected to attend these events. More information will be provided in official bulletins.
Registration: Drivers much register first as an ERC3 driver with the FIA via an online
registration process and pay a fee of 1000 Euros. They must then register with Eurosport
Events and pay an additional 500 Euros to become an ERC Junior driver. Registrations will be
accepted up until the closing date of entries for Barum Czech Rally Zlín. Go to the Regulations

Rounds: There are six rounds in total, three on loose surfaces, three on asphalt as follows: 01:
Rally Liepāja (Latvia, gravel/ice/snow): 6-8 February 02: Circuit of Ireland Rally (Northern
Ireland, asphalt): 2-4 April 03: SATA Rallye Açores (Portugal, gravel): 4-6 June 04: Geko
Ypres Rally (Belgium, asphalt): 25-27 June 05: auto24 Rally Estonia (gravel): 17-19 July* 06:
Barum Czech Rally Zlín (Czech Republic, asphalt): 28-30 August. *Subject to agreement
Seeding: Where possible ERC Junior entrants will be seeded together on events. Their ERC3
status means they will also take part in Free Practice and the Qualifying Stage.
Tyres: Drivers must use tyres provided by ERC Junior partner Michelin. Prior to scrutineering at
each rally, Michelin will provide the FIA and each driver entered with a list of barcodes that may
be used during the rally. If tyres are purchased before the rally, those tyres must be presented
to the tyre supplier before pre-rally scrutineering for barcode checking. A driver may use only
those tyres that have been registered for his or her car. A maximum of 12 tyres may be used
during each rally, including Free Practice and Qualifying. Tyre use in shakedown is unrestricted.
