Job Description – Group Head of Marketing
The Company - Rewards4
Rewards4 is a provider and operator of loyalty and reward solutions that strengthen customer and consumer loyalty
and improve member engagement within and through sporting passion centres. Rewards4 currently operates the
following sports based loyalty programmes:
● Rewards4Racing is the award winning Rewards Programme for Racegoers in the UK. Its founding partner and
shareholder is Jockey Club Racecourses (JCR), the largest commercial racecourse group in the industry. JCR
own and run 15 racecourses in the UK including Aintree, Cheltenham, Newmarket, Sandown Park and Epsom
Downs. Rewards4Racing has a vast and expanding network that includes 650,000 members who collect R4R
points from over 4,000 retailers, 16 racecourses and 3 bookmaker partners. Members then redeem R4R points
for tickets and racing experiences at our 16 racecourses partners (including York Racecourse) that host 357

● Rewards4Golf operates in partnership with Europe’s largest multi-channel golf retailer, Direct Golf, and is the
largest and most successful industry loyalty scheme within the UK golf market with over 550,000 members

● Rewards4Fishing operates in partnership with online fishing retailer, Tackle Fanatics, a loyalty programme
dedicated to fishing enthusiasts in the UK (for more details please see www.rewards4fishing.com)
● Rewards4Cricket is in its launch phase, but is planned to be rolled out across the County Cricket Clubs in
England and Wales. The Rewards4Cricket platform will initially power rewards programmes for both Durham

The Position
Rewards4, based near Lichfield, Staffordshire, is actively seeking a Group Head of Marketing to join its expanding team.
Reporting to the Directors and working closely with the senior management team (IT Director, Customer Insight
Director, Creative Studio Manager and Customer Service Manager) our Group Head of Marketing will ensure the
effective delivery of the marketing and communications strategy for the various Rewards4 brands, delivering against
the business KPIs. The role will focus on everything from customer segmentation to delivering compelling email
marketing campaigns to implementing a Social Media strategy.
Responsibilities
Key duties include:
● Ownership of the Marketing Communications strategy and delivery of the plan to support Rewards4 member
engagement and other Business KPIs.
● Management of integrated campaigns to support key focus areas for the business including driving growth in
engagement and commission generated by members.
● Supporting the growth of new programmes to launch and sustain their growth beyond launch.
● Supporting the launch and growth of our key propositions including Points Reminder and Refer a Friend and
ensuring members awareness of these tools.
● Manage the overall Social Media strategy and delivery of existing and new Social Media channels including
Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and Instagram.
● Manage, protect and promote the Rewards4 brands across all channels including PR and social.

Making sure the Company’s marketing strategy is customer focused and working to maximise its effectiveness.
Delivering effective marketing (including email) segmentation techniques to enable tailored and relevant
email messages to be communicated to Rewards4 programme members.
Lead, motivate, coach and support the marketing team to deliver an effective team and continually meet
business needs.
Effectively manage the brands through our partners’ marketing and promotion.
Manage budgets, forecasting and any sales income for the Marketing team.
Work closely with the Directors and other departments (for example IT, Customer Insight and Account
Managers) to ensure a joined-up approach to Rewards4 brand and content marketing and ensuring effective
delivery of communications into all channels.
Reporting to the Company’s stakeholders on a regular basis and providing effective KPIs and performance
metrics in relation to email marketing campaigns delivered by the Company on their behalf.
Reporting to the Directors on a regular basis and providing effective KPIs and performance metrics in relation
to Rewards4’s email marketing campaigns.
Implementing best marketing practices across the Group.
Desired Skills & Experience
● Our Group Head of Marketing will be a collaborative and confident leader who can inspire a team to deliver
against tight timescales in a multi stakeholder environment.
● With a specialist marketing qualification and extensive marketing experience at senior level, our Group Head
of Marketing will bring a wealth of experience and expertise to the role gained ideally from a digital brand.
● The successful candidate will have extensive experience and understanding of brand principles and the media
mix to include digital and social media, including hands on experience in creating marketing campaigns from
concept through to copywriting and delivery as well as database segmentation and reporting.
● Our Group Head of Marketing will be well versed in delivering marketing plans and will strive to achieve
inspiring results. With a proven track record within PR & reputation management, our Group Head of
Marketing will be commercially focused, possess strong budget management skills and have significant
experience in delivering a customer-focused approach to decisions.
● Planning and organisational skills are essential to succeed within this role.
