Fillmore High School students put
on their dancing shoes and kicked
up a storm on Thursday, March 26th
with support from Ventura
Community College Instructors.
They learned the joy of exercise through dance.
Students reported
they had a ton of fun
and would like an
opportunity to do it
again!!
The Blue Seahawks captured the
inaugural Fillmore High School Indoor Soccer
Championship. They accomplished this by
winning 4 straight games after losing their
first three games. The Seahawks switched
their style of play to a physical, aggressive
attack that had the other teams wondering
what had happened. Comments made by
members of runner up Strike Force were,
“they are rough and tough”, and “I am
intimidated by them”. The strong play of
David and Edmund spearheaded the
determined Seahawk juggernaut.
