COMPANY SUMMARY
Life Guard International, also known as Flying ICU, is a U.S. Air Medical Transportation Service that
performs 24/7 emergency and non-emergency air medical transports, regionally, nationally and
internationally. We are licensed by multiple U.S. health districts and are accredited by CAMTS, the
Commission on Accreditation of Medical Transport Systems. CAMTS accreditation is a symbol of excellence
in the air medical transportation industry, as it requires providers to maintain the most stringent levels of
aviation and medical safety and service, over and above most state licensing requirements. Our two-engine
pressurized aircraft are professionally managed by Jet Logistics and are always operated by experienced
two-pilot crews. The medical team consists of an experienced critical care flight nurse (EMS-RN) and a flight
paramedic (EMT-P). An MD, Perfusionist and other medical professionals are available on an as needed basis. The
aircraft are equipped with medical supplies & equipment similar to a hospital intensive care unit. Because exposure
to factors unique to air transport adds to the stressors of the patient’s illness or injury, our teams operate at critical care level, ensuring preparedness for any foreseen and unforeseen in-flight changes in the patient’s condition.
