Youth Development: Young people need caring adults to provide support, guidance and encouragement as
they grow.

Healthy Living: Wellness in spirit, mind and body strengthens our very being and enhances our interactions
with others.

Social Responsibility: We truly are in this together and together we can harness our individual strengths and

Forest City Y Heritage Club
We invite you to become a member of our Heritage Club! The Heritage Club was established in 2012 to
ensure the Forest City Y remains in the community for generations to come. Heritage Club members are
those who have made contributions to an endowment fund or who have made provisions in their estate
plans for future contributions. The Forest City Y has two established funds, the Forest City Family YMCA
Endowment Fund made possible by John K. and Luise V. Hanson and the Hanson Foundation; and the
Oleson Family Scholarship Fund, given by the family of the late Merrill G. Oleson, former executive director
of the Forest City Y. Or, donors can name their own fund.
