Company profile
Target group
August Herzog is a successful family owned and family
run company with a long tradition in what is now the
fifth generation. Since the start of the company in 1861,
braiding machines for various applications and later on also
bobbin winding machines, pay-off creels and coilers have
been developed and built.
In our factory in Oldenburg, standard machines, modified
standard machines as well as custom made machines are
designed and built. One-off machines, small and large
series of machines ; all is made in our factory in Oldenburg.
Starting with design/engineering, the preparation of raw
materials, welding, milling, drilling, assembly and making of
the control cabinets; all is done at Herzog.
Machines from August Herzog are sold worldwide through
independent agencies with whom in many cases there has
been a long and successful co-operation.
Target group would be all those companies involved or
interested in the manufacturing of braided products or
processes that involve braiding to create products with a
high added value and/or high technical requirements.
