Going back to school: What you should know When you leave the Cook County Juvenile Temporary Detention Center, you should feel safe and welcome in your school. Based on what we know about you, you have been assigned to the following school: If you have any problems or you need help enrolling, please call the CPS Information Office right away at (773) 535-8500 BACK IN SCHOOL You may be required to bring a birth certificate and other identification with you when you return to school. It is a good idea to call the school office before you go, to make sure you have what you need with you. You made a choice to go back to school, and it is our job to support you along the way.
