At Garnet Mesa, we strive to provide the best educational experience for every one of our students; therefore, we assign students to teachers in a way that will achieve the greatest possible educational opportunities for all students. However, we understand that due to unique educational needs, some parents may want to request specific teachers. Before accepting requests for certain teachers, we would like you to arrange a classroom visit or a meeting with two teachers. Following those meetings, you would then write a letter to the attention of Mr. Farmer indicating your child’s name and grade, and an educationally sound reason for your requests. You must list two teachers. To visit a Garnet Mesa classroom, please call the office at least one day in advance. We will attempt to honor your request, while ensuring that all students are placed in a fair and equitable way. All letters must be turned in by Friday, May 1. Thank you!
