Talent show scheduled

national students.
The show will feature guest groups
from M exico. Students from
Chihuahua, Juarez and the Universi­
ty of Parral will perform in the show.
Rodriguez said, “ the purpose of
the show is to encourage international
students to participate in the show as
well as the functions of the ISS .”
The talent show is a part of Inter­
national Week. From Nov. 16-18, in­
ternational students will host a food
festival and clothing exhibition.
International week and its activities
are open to all students. Students
must have a valid SA card to be ad­
mitted to the talent show.
The U T El Paso International Stu­
dent Organization (ISS) will stage an
International Taient Show at 7:30
p.m. Wednesday (Nov. 18) in the
Union Theater.
The ISS has had previous shows,
and IS S spokesperson Carmen
Rodriguez said the show is a good
promotion for the organization.
A variety of countries will be
represented in the show. Students
from Japan, China, Indonesia, Mex­
ico, Spain and the United States will
participate. Rodriguez waid that she
and vice-director Lucia Widjaja are
trying to recruit more foreign
students.
