TARGET AUDIENCE: RNs, LPNs and CMs who work in a
rehabilitation setting or long term care.
COURSE DESCRIPTION: This conference is designed to
discuss various topics beneficial to rehab nurses and
providers to improve patient outcomes.
OBJECTIVES: Upon completion participants should be able to:
 Describe the value of rehabilitation nursing and the
role within the international team
 Discuss the cognitive effects of dementia and
behavioral management
 Describe the impact of adverse childhood
experiences on adult health issues
 Identify the Impact of Caregiver Stress
 Discuss challenges within the continuum of care
CREDIT:
Day One: 6.0 Nursing Contact Hours
Day Two: 5.5 Nursing Contact Hours
TOTAL Both Days: 11.5 Nursing Contact Hours
Participants must attend full days in order to receive credit. No
partial credit will be given for partial day or session attendance.
