AUGUST 1-5 YUMA COUNTY FAIR
Accidental Insurance Sponsors
Wray State Bank is again sponsoring
accidental insurance for all members
and leaders of Yuma County. It
would be great if you would drop them
a note of thanks for their continued support of Yuma
County 4-H. They would really appreciate hearing
from you, or if you are in the bank tell them thanks!
General and Home Economics
Achievement Award
Last year Yuma County was privileged to have an
anonymous donor provide a $200 cash award to one
girl and one boy in the general and home economics
project areas. The award was based on outstanding
achievement related not only to their projects, but to
their 4-H involvement as a whole. The General and
Home Economics Achievement award will be given
again this year and is determined by what is recorded
in your record books. Be sure to keep good records
so you are eligible for this award! Keep track of all
the activities you do, committees you serve on, help
you give another member or sibling with a 4-H
activity, community service, etc. Look for more tips
on filling out your record book in the Fair Newsletter
issue.
