cut-out (1/2” deep) into the inactive door at a distance
of 3” from the outside edge on the narrow side of the
1-1/2”
T-Astragal of the inactive door, as shown at right.

The hole heights should be equal to the hole heights1/2”
DIAMETER
on the active door lockset. The 1-1/2” cut-out should
have a centerpoint 3/4” from the bottom edge of the
top 1/2” hole. Note: Use the face plate as a template to
determine the hole locations.

NOTE:
The curved edge of the lever handle (#5)
should be facing up and pointing away
from the door opening.
STEP 3
DOOR OPENING
Insert the lever handles (#5) into the outside (#1) and
inside plates (#2). NOTE: When mounted, 1) each lever
handle (#5) should point away from the door opening,
and 2) the curve of each lever handle (#5) should be
facing upward.
STEP 3
Once each lever handle (#5) has been inserted properly
into the outside (#1) and inside plates (#2), secure them
to the plates with a screwdriver using the lever handle
mounting screws (#4) (two).

Attached outside (#1) and inside plates (#2) to the door
using the long plate screws (#3) (two). Note that the
inside plate (#2) has a screw hole and should be placed
on the inside of the door. Place plate screw (#3) through
screw holes and into hole drilled into the fixed door.
Place the blank outside plate (#1) on the outside of the
door, align and tighten plate screw (#3), as shown in
figures to right.
