PHOTOGRAPHS OF STUDENTS An increasing number of parents have requested that photographs not be taken of their children - other than for school purposes. Many parents also do not want pictures of their children on the internet. Please be respectful of these wishes when photographing school events and only take pictures of your own children, or children where you have the parent’s permission. DRESS PROPERLY Please pack extra clothing, hats and mitts for your children during these wet and cold months. The weather is often unpredictable and it is very uncomfortable to be in wet socks or pants for the day. Don’t forget to label everything! (This is a good opportunity to use our Mabel’s Labels fundraiser!) LOST & FOUND ITEMS Parents are asked to remind their child(ren) to regularly check the lost and found box in the foyer for any missing items. Parents are welcome to come in and check the box as well. WINTER SAFETY The playground equipment continues to be out of bounds for the winter season. This also includes after school and weekends. We appreciate your cooperation with this. PANCAKE DAY We would like to send out a special thank you to our Home & School Association, Parent Volunteers and Barbara’s Custom Catering for a fabulous Pancake Lunch. The pancakes were enjoyed by all the students and staff here at the School. SHEPPARD’S PIE DAY The entire school also enjoyed some delicious Sheppard’s Pie. Training Modules were customized into user groups which have been added to the LKDSB website and/or Portal: Teachers, Parents and Student Councils http://www.lkdsb.net/Parents/ http://www.lkdsb.net/Staff/
