Dr. Douglas Kemme, UC Health Oncologist,
will lead a discussion panel of cancer care
experts on Wednesday, Apr 29, 2-3:30pm at
the Senior Center. Cancer 101: Prevention
to Detection to Survivorship will discuss
reducing cancer risk, early detection guidelines, genetics, team approach to care & palliative care. Reservations are required and
can be made by calling the Greeley Aspen

Air & Space Museum on Tuesday,
Apr 14 at 9am. The museum has
added 6 new inter-active exhibits
including “Colorado’s Astronauts”

It is time to register for our next session, Apr 1-June 29, of Open Gym
Sports: Badminton, Basketball,
Pickleball, Racquetball & Volleyball. Days, times & fees vary depending on the sports you play so
please refer to the Recreation Connection catalog for this information.
There is no charge for SilverSneakers® Members when they register
for 50+ Open Gym Sports: Badminton, Basketball, Pickleball, Racquetball & Volleyball. We do ask
that SilverSneakers® members register for each program in which they
participate AND that they scan their
SilverSneakers® card at the Senior
Center and Greeley Recreation Center or Family FunPlex each day they
participate in their sport! When you
register please let us know that you
are a SilverSneakers® member so
that you are not charged the registration fee.
Senior Softball teams are busy
practicing Mon/Wed mornings at
10:30am. Softball Games begin on
Monday, Apr 20 for the 70+ Division
and on Wednesday, Apr 22 for the
50+ Divisions. Players are needed
for our intermediate, B2/C1 Division
team. If you are interested in joining
one of these teams please contact

Compete in our Shuffleboard Tournament at 9am, Wednesday, Apr 8.
Fees are $3 Shuffleboard Club
members, $8 non-members. Prizes
awarded to the top 3 finishers.

A Pickleball Mixer is scheduled for
Saturday, May 9, 8am-5pm. The
format is Men’s 7 Women’s Doubles
with partners drawn for each game.
Prizes awarded to the top 3 finishers in each gender division. Room
101 is reserved for a potluck lunch,

play 8-11:30am in the Main Gym
ONLY and Just 4 Fun Pickleball
will play 1-4pm in the Main Gym.
On Friday, Apr 17 Leisure Pickleball will play 2-5pm in the Main
Gym.
Afternoon Table Tennis is offered
at 1:30pm on Monday, Wednesday
and Friday. No fee for members.
Non-members pay the $3 daily
drop-in fee or $5 monthly fee. At
6pm on Wednesdays and the 1st,
3rd, 4th & 5th Fridays of each month
play Open Table Tennis. The fee
is $3 per person, per night, payable
at the door. Enjoy a Round Robin
Tournament at 6pm the 2nd Friday
of each month for $5.

can enroll in Advanced Tai Chi
Evenings on Wednesdays, 78:30pm, Mar 25-May 20. Fees are
$15 members, $20 non-members.
Beginning Tai Chi is a continuation
of the most recent beginning class
in which students must have enrolled. Wear comfortable clothes
and enjoy fun, rejuvenating exercise
on Thursdays, 9-10am, Mar 26-May
21. Fees are $12 members, $17
non-members.

Center. Annual membership cost
is $22 for Greeley residents, $24 for
non-residents.
