Greater Victoria Harbour Authority (GVHA), a non-profit corporation that manages key properties in
Victoria Harbour, is seeking a Manager of Marina Operations to lead all of their marina facilities in beautiful
Victoria, BC.
This is a rare opportunity for an experienced marina manager to plan and manage all aspects of GVHA
marina facilities – including Fisherman’s Wharf, Causeway, Ship Point, Wharf Street, Johnson Street,
Steamship Terminal building and marina. The right candidate will oversee facility operations, maintenance,
infrastructure, staffing, business development, and revenue and expense performance associated with the
docks, wharves, property and the Canada Border Service Agency customs float.

oversight to a number of high profile marina facilities in Victoria’s beautiful downtown harbour? Are you

Reporting to GVHA’s Chief Executive Officer, the right candidate will bring:
 Post-secondary education in a related field preferred
 Minimum 5 years of recent, related experience managing a marine facility (including infrastructure
and expense management)
 Minimum 5 years of related supervisory experience
 Experience with business development
 Experience with commercial leasing preferred
 Experience preparing and monitoring budgets
 Experience reading and interpreting financial statements
 Experience with accounting and spreadsheet software
 Valid basic first aid certificate, PCOC, and Marine or Port Facility Security Officer certificate preferred
