FORMAT: 36 holes of Four-Ball stroke play(net-95% hdcp allowance). Teams play as a field. Field limited to 128
Teams.
HANDICAP: April 1st handicap revision used in accordance with USGA recommendations and Slope Handicap System.
Handicap indexes above the allowed maximum index of 23.2 will be adjusted down to this maximum for play in the FourBall tournament. The Tournament Chair reserves the right to confirm and adjust any Handicap index.
ELIGIBILITY: Both contestants must be residents of Georgia and be members of GWGA. A player may join GWGA
until the close of entries – March 22, 2015.
ENTRY: Enter as a team. No single entries or walk-ins accepted. Complete and mail the Entry Form below. The
TOTAL TEAM FEE is $300 and must accompany the Entry Form. This fee includes the Tournament fee, green fees, cart
fees, tournament prizes, tee gift, bag storage and taxes for two days plus range balls for tournament days. Practice Round
at the Indian Mound course is available at player’s cost for $35. Call for tee times at 912-635-2368.
Entries must be received by 6:00 p.m., March 22. Acceptance notices will be mailed/emailed after entries close to the
team member with lowest handicap index. Tournament roster will be available @ www.gwga.org by April 17th.
If your team withdraws BEFORE April 14th at 6:00 p.m., $270 will be refunded. AFTER THAT TIME, NO TEAM
FEES WILL BE REFUNDED UNLESS THERE IS A WAITING LIST.

REGULATIONS: GWGA Tournament shall be in accordance with The USGA RULES OF GOLF and Policies and
Procedures established by the Georgia Women’s Golf Association.
Caddies, pull carts and private carts are not permitted. Competitors shall wear appropriate golf attire. Only non-metal
spikes are permitted.
Cell phones must be turned off on the course.
The Board of Directors reserves the right to approve or reject entries and refund deposited monies at any time before and
throughout the competition.
Distance measuring devices will be allowed to measure distance only. The use of devices that measure other conditions
that might affect a player’s play (e.g. wind or gradient) is not permitted. NO CELL/PDA APPS MAY BE USED.
REGISTRATION: Jekyll Island Golf Clubhouse, GWGA Registration Desk. Each Team must register by 1:00 p.m.
Monday, April 20th. Emergencies call GWGA Registration (912) 635-2368. An authorized individual may register for
contestants, provided they supply all necessary information.
REGISTRATION DESK HOURS: Monday, April 20th 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM
AWARDS: The GWGA Director’s Trophy will be awarded to the 1st Place winners who will share possession for one
year. In addition, they will be awarded an engraved prize. All winners will be awarded gift certificates to be redeemed in
the Golf Shop at the Jekyll Island Golf Club. Approximately 1/3 of the field will receive awards.
HOLE-IN-ONE TROPHY is awarded to the competitor(s) scoring a hole-in-one in the competition.
