RHEOLAU’R SIOE / SHOW RULES
1.
Persons are admitted to the showground at their own risk, and whilst every endeavour is taken to
ensure their safety, the Association will not be responsible for personal injury (fatal or otherwise):loss of
or damage to property, and any loss, damage, costs and expenses, however caused.
2.
No competitor to run into the ring with a pony or cob. Failure to comply will result in instant
disqualification with a 3 year ban from GWPCBA shows by any member of the committee who is witness
to the offence. This is indisputable and not open to negotiation.
3.
Cups to be returned to the secretary 1 month before the next show. Cups to be signed for on the day of
the show and must be replaced if lost by the winning exhibitor, (receipts will be issued as proof of
return).
4.
No competitors to leave the ring without the consent of the judge via ring steward.
5.
GWPCBA Members’ Awards
Foal (highest placed foal bred by exhibitor)
Yearling: highest placed filly or colt bred by exhibitor (Section A B C D and WPB)
Section A only : Best 2 year old filly bred by exhibitor.
Section A only : Best 3 year old filly bred by exhibitor.
Section A only : Best brood or barren mare bred by exhibitor.
WPCS rules apply to ridden classes.
GWPCBA Red armbands to be worn in the ring by the exhibitor (available from the Association
Secretary)
Members cards to be signed in the ring before the next class.
6.
All exhibitors in ‘Young Handlers’ classes to wear protective headwear, and be within reach of a
responsible adult should assistance be required.
7.
Any complaints to be made in writing to a member of the Committee within 30 minutes of the class
ending, accompanied by a deposit of £20. Monies are non-returnable should complaint not be upheld by
the Committee.
8.
All exhibitors and exhibits to be covered by PUBLIC LIABILITY INSURANCE, prior to entering their
animals in the show. To enter is to accept that the exhibits are covered.
9.
All exhibits must be accompanied with relevant passport on the day of the show.
