Parents: Children (ages 5-12) competing in Hill Country Karate tournaments are divided up according
to age, height, sex, belt color & experience. This is a “winners tournament” which means every child will
win an award. You should pre-register in class to save the $5 late registration fee, however you may still
register the day of the tournament. No family discounts at the door.
Entering a karate tournament is one of the requirements to rank up to the next belt color.

REQUIREMENTS:
REQUIREMENTS:
All Senior competitors must furnish their own safety hand gear, foot
gear, shin gear, cup/supporter, mouthpiece and head gear with full
face cage.
Junior competitors will not have groin contact. Safety hand and full
-face head gear will be furnished and required for competition. All
Juniors are required to furnish their own mouthpiece and boys must
wear a cup and supporter. All participants must wear their complete
uniform (pants, top and belt).
All Yellow and Orange belt adults will have light contact to the face
and groin. Green, Blue, Purple, Brown and Black Belts will have
light to moderate contact to the face and groin.
SPECTATOR TICKETS: $5 per person (age 5 & up)
For safety reasons, all competitors 17 and younger should be accompanied by a legal guardian.
