Our Topic this half term is...
Marvellous Music
The Y2 children are using the new national curriculum for all subjects apart from Literacy, Numeracy and Science. This is because nationally this year group will be assessed
on the previous curriculum in these subjects in 2015. Below is the outline of our half term; although we have planned what will be taught each week, this can change over
time as children take a shorter or longer time to meet each learning objective.

Specialist Staff
In Year 2 we are fortunate to have specialist staff working with us for circle time, recorders, PE and drama. Class teachers are with the children during all lessons apart from
PE and drama on Friday afternoons, when they have their preparation time.
Green Day
We are looking forward to Green Day on Friday 1st May. If you would like to drop in please come in
the morning as in Year 2 the children will be doing PE and Drama in the afternoon.
Water bottles
Please can you ensure that your child has a named water bottle in school? These can be refilled from any tap in school. Thank you.
