Ms.ConnorisanattorneywhocomestoIICONNwithovertwenty‐fiveyearsofexperiencein legalrepresentation,humanrightsadvocacy,fundraising,policyanalysis,strategicleadershipand managementinthenon‐profitsectorintheUnitedStates,AfricaandSoutheastAsia. SheiscurrentlyDirectorofStrategicFoundationPartnershipsatSavetheChildreninFairfield, CT,whereshedoesfundraisingfromprivatefoundationsandmanageshigh‐levelfoundation relationships.BeforejoiningSavetheChildrenin2012,Ms.ConnorworkedattheInternational RescueCommittee,withUNICEFinMyanmar,andheldavarietyofotherservicepositionsin AfricaandSoutheastAsia.Duringthecourseofhercareershesupervisedrefugeeresettlement programofficesintheU.S.,setthestrategicvisionforanewlyestablishednationalprogramunit thatincludedimmigrationservices,developedandexecutedanimpactassessmentofhuman traffickinginterventions,andhasshownsignificantfundraisingabilitywithprivatephilanthropic foundations.Shestartedhercareerdoingcriminaldefensetrialworkandprisoners’rights litigationwiththeLegalAidSocietyinNewYorkCity.
