Dear Students,
The long awaited Summer vacations are back and we expect you
all to sit back, relax, watch entertaining and informative movies,
visit friends &relatives. Go out shopping-buying your favorite
stuff.
To keep you occupied some joyous &fun filled activities have been
complied by your teachers which will serve a quick fillers and
provide many different ways to exercise and develop creative
thinking general vocabulary and spelling skills. So, children don’t
let the excitement meter go down, have loads & loads of fun,
enjoy yourself and come back refreshed and share with us all your
happenings.

General instructions for holiday homework
 The holiday homework should be done as specified by the
subject teachers.
 Manage your time in such a way that the little work is done
every day & there is no piling up for the last moment.
 Do the work neatly as per the given instructions.
 Revise thoroughly for FA-2 examination to be held after
summer vacations.
 All Holiday Home work must be submitted by or before
Friday, 10th July, 2015.

Make an assignment of types of fractions with examples.
Make as many decimals number as possible using a decimal point and each of the
digits 5, 7 and 0 only once. On a A3 sheet.

 Collect the picture of some aquatic plants and paste them in a scrapbook. Also
find how they get their nutrition.
 Make a visit to a goldsmith or ironsmith see how he makes different articles.
Prepare a project report on it.
 Collect all the resources you require for your project-picture,photographs ,text.
 Be creative, colorful, informative and original in your project work.

SOCIAL SCIENCE
Choose any 5 States of India and make a project on the following.
 Their Language, Cultural, Social Political system of (Festivals, region, dresses,
food etc)
 Climate & Agricultural pradiser.
 Project should contain 10-20 (Colour A-4 size sheet) and should have written
including: Index, Photograph,
 Acknowledgment (People who’ve helped/ inspired for the project)
 Introduction (Brief-Outline of the topic given objective reason of topic taken.
 Methodology (Source : Newspaper, magazine article, internet etc)
 Bibliography (Mention all your reference points)

General Knowledge
 Read the Newspaper daily.
 Watch Discovery, Animal Planet and National Geographic channels daily.
 Write thoughts, quotations and sayings of great personalities on chart strips to
decorate your class boards. (make any one)
ART & CRAFT
 Use your creativity to design beautiful bookmarks using waste materials
available at home (not more than 5).
