Hello everyone,
Wonderful news! Anahi, our social worker is now with us. She will make
a huge difference in our center by helping our seniors and others in the
community.
A few points to ponder:

Spring is here and soon our garden will grow. We hope our
tomatoes and hot peppers will be awesome this year.

Remember, May is the most beautiful month. It is mother’s day and
we all need to celebrate it. Wish a mother, a grandmother, a sister or
a friend a happy day.

We all are trying very hard to spread the word about OmahaGives!
Hopefully we will connect to many people and get all kinds of
donations starting at $10.00. Anything is a great gift and huge
blessing for us.

Our seniors from Nepal are very sad to see the destruction in their
native county with the earthquake . ISC family is helping with donations. Every penny counts.

My name is Anahi Reynoso-Ramirez. I am a social worker and a mental
health therapist. I received my Master’s degrees in social work at the
University of Nebraska at Omaha. I am bilingual in English and Spanish.
I have worked in the social work field for about 10 years working with
families, children, adolescents, seniors, and couples. I am very excited to
be part of the Intercultural Senior Center and to help continue to promote
the well-being of seniors from around the world.
