Wanted For The 2016 Iowa POA Show Season: Iowa POA Royalty Contestants! Contest to be held in Cedar Rapids, Iowa Saturday, June 6, 2015. Contest Requirements: Contestants need to be Iowa POA members and need to participate in 51% of the total 2015 Iowa shows during the 2015 season. Contestants who have held a royalty title in the past need only to sit out one year before they try out again. Contestants are judged on appearance, horsemanship pattern, sportsmanship, and of course their “smile”. Schedule: Tiny Tot Princess and Tiny Tot Prince contest will be held following the lead line class. Princess, Prince, Queen, and King Contest will be held Saturday evening at the conclusion of the judged portion of the day and before the game classes. If you are selected to be part of the Iowa POA Royalty you are expected to: -Represent IPOA Club as an ambassador of leadership, sportsmanship, and hospitality. -Iowa POA Queen or King write and submit an article for the youth page in the National POA magazine monthly for one year. -Help with free-will donation breakfast fundraisers on Saturday mornings at each show. -Attend and participate at the Iowa POA Banquet in November 2015. -Annual parent pleasure class fundraiser, complete with youth judges will be held in Cedar Rapids this year on August 1, 2015. This fun and entertaining event will take place before the evening gaming events. The theme is Clowning Around! Royalty Sponsors needed!!!
