EVENT OVERVIEW
THE JUNIOR ACHIEVEMENT PUGET SOUND BUSINESS HALL OF FAME celebrates the accomplishments of individuals who have
made a lasting impact on this region’s business and society. Since 1987, over 100 laureates have been inducted into the local Hall
of Fame. This premier annual event also celebrates the continuing success of Junior Achievement in improving the quality of
young people’s lives by sharing the opportunities of free enterprise.
THE 2015 PUGET SOUND BUSINESS HALL OF FAME will be held on THURSDAY, APRIL 23, 2015 at the beautiful waterfront Bell
Harbor International Conference Center. The reception will begin at 6:00 p.m. with the dinner and program following at 7:00 p.m.
An exclusive Laureate and VIP Sponsor reception will be held at 5:15 pm.
THE 2015 LAUREATES have been selected by an independent committee comprised of some of the region’s top business leaders
and Washington state historians, and is chaired by Gordon Prouty, Publisher of the Puget Sound Business Journal. Each laureate
selected represents business excellence, character, vision, and innovation – qualities that exemplify the spirit of the Pacific
Northwest.

Issaquah, Washington.
GENE JUAREZ , founder of the
distinguished Gene Juarez Salons &
Spas, Inc. He created 10 full-service
salons, two cosmetology schools, and
the Gene Juarez Advanced Training
Salon.
JIM SINEGAL, co-founder of Costco
Wholesale. His innovations made
Costco the first warehouse club to
include fresh food, eye-care clinics,
pharmacies, and gas stations.

THE COST OF ATTENDING THE EVENT is $325 for an individual ticket or $3,000 for a table of ten. Sponsorship and marketing
packages, which include Puget Sound Business Journal advertising, are priced from $5,000-$35,000. Sponsorships provide high
profile opportunities to honor the laureates, as well as showcase sponsor companies and their commitment to business excellence
and economic programs for the region’s youth.
PROCEEDS FROM THE PUGET SOUND BUSINESS HALL OF FAME will benefit Washington’s 108,000 kindergarten through twelfth
grade students receiving Junior Achievement’s programs this year. Junior Achievement is a non-profit organization, which inspires
and prepares young people to succeed in a global economy.
