Instruction for abstract submission
All submission must complete registration form.
Abstracts must be:
 Less than 300 words, including headings
 In English
 In Microsoft word format (doc/docx) and submitted
via softcopy to [email protected]

Confirmation of receipt email will be sent upon
successful submission
 Title must be Arial font size 14 with capital letters
 Text must be Arial font size 12 with single spacing

The decision made by the Kelantan Research
Day Secretariat is final.
Instruction for oral presentation
2nd ANNOUNCEMENT
 One presenter is allowed for each paper
 The presenter is given ONLY 8 MINUTES TO PRESENT
and an additional 2 minutes for Question and Answer
session by the judges
 Presentation must not exceed 8 minutes or it will not be
taken into consideration by the judges
 All Power Point presentations must be submitted via
softcopy to [email protected] before or by 30 August
2015
 No changes will be permitted to the presentations
once they are submitted

 One presenter is allowed for each paper
Structure of abstract
Abstract Title
NMRR ID (if any)
All authors (Underline the
name of the author
presenting the paper)
Departments of authors
Introduction – includes the context or background
for the study and objective
Methodology – description of the study design and
study sample
Results – main findings of the study, giving specific
effect sizes and their statistical significance
Conclusion – with recommendations if relevant
3 – 5 keywords
 One display board for each paper
 Poster display area shall be determined by the
organizer
 Size of display board : 4 feet width x 3 feet height
(120 cm width x 90 cm height)
 Use Arial or Times New Roman font and must be
readable from a distance of 6 feet
 Keep illustration simple
 Presenters must be present at the venue on
7 September 2015 (2.00 pm - 5.00 pm) to mount
their posters
