Then a Certificate IV in Youth Work is for you! Youth workers work alongside a young person in a variety of ways to empower and enable personal, social and educational growth by helping them reach their full potential. At its core, Youth Work is about the relationship and conversations built up between a youth worker and a young person. Certificate IV Youth Work will give you the skills and knowledge to work in a richly diverse and much needed industry, where you can assist young people to develop insight into their own growth as well as promote capacity to consider the risks and consequences that come with life. As an advocate for young people you will aid in contributing to helping young people in finding a voice in the decision making which affects their lives. Delivered at JSW Training and Community Services our Youth Work qualification will give you hands on practical experience working with young people at one of the top youth focused agencies in the South West by real practising youth workers and community service professionals! Our training courses are: Engaging, Interactive, Flexible and Fun! Entrance Requirements: Completion of another Community Services or similar qualification and/or equivalent working history. Intermediate Computing and Communication skills (reading, writing, speaking and listening skills in English). Course Fees in 2015: Full fee $2,734.65 / Concession fee $1,371.75. Book Fee $60.
