Junior IT Security Specialist
Position Highlights:
IT Security Specialist is working in Security Management Team, his job objectives is take preventive actions in
clients network, to protect data and software applications from external attacks. Main activities are to monitor
existing security solutions, develop existing solutions, accomplish high quality and good performance, as well
as implement new security solutions into client environment.

IT Security Specialist is responsible for security solution
implementation to client environment, configuration installations,
operations maintenance and IT environment status reporting. Job
position includes environmental vulnerability detection, reporting
and cooperation with other IT Security Teams for detecting
vulnerability removal. IT Security Specialist job objectives are
security solutions planning, creation and implementation to
environment with target to protect and as quickly as possible to
prevent from emerging threats to IT systems, software
applications and data.

Excellent troubleshooting skills;
Good verbal and written communication skills in English;
Proactive and highly organized, with strong time management and
planning skills;
Preferable previous experience with security system monitoring and
improvement delivery systems.
Preferable knowledge of Antimalware Management Systems (Symantec,
Trend Micro, MS Forefront)
Preferable knowledge of Electronic Deployment Systems (Altiris MS
SCCM, MS WDS)
The tasks include:



Beneficial skills:
 Practical experience with Windows OS;
 Analytical approach to problem, its
causes;
 Understanding about the damage, caused
by non-delivery of security solution for
IT environment;
 Any Scandinavian language knowledge.

Maintain existing IT security infrastructure:
o Perform IT environment scan thus defining potential threats
o Network-based Intrusion Detection/Prevention Systems (IDS/IPS)

o IT environment security monitoring application using Security
Information & Event Management (SIEM)

o Observe IT environment using following solutions:

 Trend micro office scan
o Regularly create and assign to client IT environment security
reports
o Provide IT environment security-related incident prevention
o Maintain existing solutions and working documentation, and
perform its optimization.
o Provide clients with suggestions for security improvements.
