Dear football friends, colleagues,
We have the honor and the pleasure to once again invite you to join our 'International Ambiorix
Mercedes Cup for foreign and elite teams (3rd Edition). Unlike the previous two editions, where we
played only with the U12 11 versus 11 our tournament is adapted to the changes made by the football
league last season and we will let the teams U11 and U12 play 8 versus 8. Given this adjustment and
the resulting free capacity, we also expand our tournament on May 1 with the U11. We also provide a
2nd day for the U14 which will of course 11 versus 11.
The tournament will be held on 01/05/2015 at the youth complex "Klein Veldje" in Tongeren (access
via Rietmusweg) where we have a nice accommodation with four official contest grass fields and one
artificial turf. A hot meal and drinks during noon are offered to the registered teams and their
managers for free. For teams that want to stay over one day preceding the tournament are several
options negotiable. In this case please contact us well on time .
Already knowing the sportiness of your club we invite you to come and defend your club colors. We
hope to receive your application as soon as possible before March 1, 2014. Interested teams can
register (before 1/03/2015) via the attached registration form. However, please do this as soon as
possible as the number of registrations is limited due to the one-day tournament formula.
On behalf of KSK Tongeren we hope to greet you to our tournament and we are in the extent possible,
of course, always willing to reciprocate.
