KOCA Annual Meeting:
October 8, 2015
Come one, come all! This year’s Annual
Meeting of the Kimberly Oaks Civic
Association will be held Thursday,
October 8th at 7PM at the Livonia Civic
Center Library, in the Michigan room. All
members of the Kimberly Oaks
community are invited to learn more
about the past year’s activities and help
provide your input and suggestions for
2016.
Be One Of The
Beautiful People ...
Specifically, the KOCA Beautification Chair.
This position is just waiting for an inspired
and motivated person who can work with
volunteers to take care of our entrances and
other areas of the neighborhood. If that
sounds like you, contact Kim Gardner at
734-427-9619!
... Particularly If You
Live On Lyndon or Hubbard
If you live on one of the Lyndon or
Hubbard boulevards, please try to pitch
in this summer by helping to mow, rake
and water the median strip near your
house. Many of our boulevard residents
already do this; if everyone takes a little
time to help out, the work will be light and
these main roads in our neighborhood will
stay attractive all summer.

Membership Dues
Have You Paid
Your Dues?
Letters were recently sent
out to 423 members of the
Kimberly Oaks community
who had not yet paid their
association dues. Many
thanks to the 100
residents who responded
with their payments!
Remember that your
dues help to maintain the
entrances and boulevards in
our neighborhood, and support events like the
upcoming Garage Sale. If you’re not sure
whether you’ve paid your dues, check your
checkbook or contact Kim Gardner at (734)
427-9619. If you haven’t paid for 2015, there’s
still time - use the handy coupon attached
below. Do your part to keep our neighborhood
desirable.
Santa Claus
Came to Town!
As we’re all thawing out and
enjoying the spring, let’s not
forget that there were some
bright spots in that long,
cold winter. The 2014
Santa Run brought joy to
kids throughout the
neighborhood, and the
Christmas lights brought
seasonal cheer to all.
Special thanks to the
volunteers who made
the Santa Run and the
Christmas Light
Contest possible: Dave Begley,
Kim Gardner, Greg
Gardner, Mike Cretu
and Ellen Helgemo!
