Group AF will be hosting a special speaker Tony Torenvleit who will share a PowerPoint presentation of his mission trip to Haiti. Mission Awareness Sunday-April 26th With guest speaker Rev. Dr. Paul McLean who grew up in St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, Brampton. Rev. Dr. Paul McLean has worked as a full-time Bible translation consultant in partnership with The Presbyterian Church in Taiwan and The Bible Society in Taiwan. The W.M.S. and the McMaster Chaplaincy wish to thank Knox members for the many dozens of delicious cookies which you provided for the exam drop-in this month. The students enjoyed the homemade treats and were grateful for them. Duty Elders are Gwen Gayfer and Gord Sherritt. The ArcelorMittal Dofasco Male Chorus is coming back to Knox! A spring concert will be held at Knox on Monday May 25th at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $15 per person and are available today after the service. Tickets can be purchased through the church office starting next week. Rummage/Bake Sale May 2. Please leave donations for the rummage sale on the stage in the Fellowship Hall from April 27-April 29th. Speak with Jackie Lawrence for donations to the bake sale. We are looking for small appliances(must be in working condition), kitchen items, linens, clean wearable clothing, toys, puzzles, paperback books, china, glassware, jewellery and small furniture. All donations must be complete, clean and in working order. Please direct questions to Mary McGibbon. Thank you. “April in Paris” Pot Lunch come and join us on Wednesday April 22nd in Bell Tower Room at 12 noon. Bring your favourite main dish, salad or dessert with a French flair. Ham & Bean Fest- Friday May 8th at 6pm. Tickets are $15.00 per person and will be available after service today, Sunday April 19th. Children 12 and under eat free.
