Applications are invited for project based assignments from eligible
candidates to be appointed in the following fields on full time basis, with
a consolidated fee, initially for a period of three to six months, which can
be extended depending upon the projects and the performance of the
candidate. The details of qualification, scope of work, period of
engagement etc. can be downloaded from the website.
1. Research Associate / Curatorial Associate
Minimum Qualification: Master’s Degree in Visual Arts/Fine
Arts/History of Art, Arts Management with proficiency in written and
spoken English & Hindi.
Experience: At least one year in art institutions/art organizations.
2. Graphic Designer
Minimum Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Applied Arts from a
recognised university with practical knowledge of design software
including Photoshop, Indesign, CorelDraw.
Experience: At least one year with an art publication.
3. Coordinator (Communication)
Minimum Qualification: Graduate in English / Journalism / Mass
Communication.
Experience: At least one year in art institutions/art organizations.
Good command over English & Hindi, candidates with knowledge of
any foreign language will be given preference. Proficiency in computer
operations.
4. Coordinator (Website)
Minimum Qualification: Graduation and Diploma in Web
designing/website management from a reputed institute.
Experience: At least one year in web designing/website management.
Good command over English & Hindi.
5. Research Associate / Curatorial Associate (North East /Tribal Art)
Minimum Qualification: Master’s Degree in Visual Arts/Fine
Arts/History of Art/ Visual Anthropology/ Arts Management with
proficiency in written and spoken English & Hindi. Candidates familiar
with visual art practices of North - East Region would be given
preference.
Experience: At least one year experience of work with local art practices
of North Eastern region.
6. Program Coordinator (North East / Tribal Art)
Minimum Qualification: Master’s Degree in Visual Arts/Fine
Arts/History of Art/ Visual Anthropology/ Arts Management with
proficiency in written and spoken English & Hindi. Candidate familiar
with visual art practices of Tribal art/culture of India would be given
preference.
Experience: At least one year experience of work with local art practices
of North Eastern region.
Age limit for all the applicants is 40 years.
The salary structure for all assignments shall range between Rs. 25,000/and Rs. 45,000/- depending upon the experience and qualification of the
candidates. The candidates may indicate their preferred station (Delhi,
Kolkata, Chennai, Lucknow, Bhubaneshwar centres of the Akademi or at
offices in Patna, Shimla, Guwahati or any other state capital).
The interested candidates may submit their application in the prescribed
format with resume and a recent passport size colour photograph,
testimonials and proof of work experience in the respective field with

1. Research Associate / Curatorial Associate
Job Description
Prepare contents for website and publication. Assist the projects & research related
to artists from various countries and to conduct research for National, International
exhibitions/camps/workshops/lectures/ seminars.
Minimum Qualification: Master’s Degree in Visual Arts/Fine Arts/History of Art,
Arts Management with proficiency in written and spoken English & Hindi.
Experience: At least one year experience in art institutions/art organizations..
Desirable: Research experience supported by published works in the field of Art &
Culture especially visual arts.
Proficiency in computer operations.
Degree/Diploma/Certificate in any Foreign Language other than English from a
recognized university/institution shall be given preference.

Job Description
Design material for publications including invites, catalogues, brochures and

university with practical knowledge of Indesign, Photoshop, CorelDraw.

3. Coordinator (Communication)
Job Description
Liaison work and communication with participants and other agencies for
National, International exhibitions/camps/workshops/lectures/ seminars.
Minimum Qualification: Graduate in Journalism / Mass Communication.
Experience: At least one year working experience in art institutions/organizations.
Desirable: Expertise in Public Relations, good command over English & Hindi.
Candidates with knowledge of any foreign language will be given preference.
Proficiency in computer operations.
4. Coordinator (Website)
Job Description
Manage and ensure smooth functioning, daily updating of the websites, coordinate
between content provider and the web designer and maintenance vendor.
Minimum Qualification: Graduation and Diploma in Web designing/website
management from a reputed institute.
Experience: At least one year in web designing/website management.
Good command over English & Hindi.
Desirable: Work Experience with reputed organisation in the field of website
Design, development and maintenance.
Proficiency in web software - Dream Weaver, Flash, Java Script, CSS, html5 and its
operations. Good command over English and Hindi.
Candidates with knowledge of any foreign language will be given preference.
