Department of History College of Liberal Arts 10th William Wilson Brown, Jr. Conference in Latin American Studies Locating and Connecting Latin America and the African Diaspora Thursday, April 30th – Friday, May 1st, 2015 UNC Charlotte UNC Charlotte’s Latin American Studies Program is calling for papers to present at the 10th annual William Wilson Brown, Jr. conference. The conference organizers welcome proposals on any aspect of Latin America, and encourage the participation of Latin Americanist scholars in North Carolina. While the conference's theme this year will be “Locating and Connecting Latin America and the African Diaspora”, conference proposals are not required to address the theme. This year’s conference will take place on Thursday, April 30th and Friday, May 1st at UNC Charlotte, and will be celebrated along with the Rio de la Plata History Workshop and the Africana Studies Department Annual Symposium.
