REHEARSAL ATTENDANCE—PLEASE READ!
Individuals who audition and receive consideration for roles are asked to make a
commitment for the duration of the production. Two major pieces of this commitment
are independent work (learning your lines) and group work (attendance at rehearsals).
Our rehearsal commitment is described below. Please review this carefully. List all
possible times you can commit to rehearse and all potential conflicts with rehearsal in
the spaces provided.
We realize that our Players have lives outside of the Opera House (most of them,
anyway !). Nevertheless, excessive absences that interfere with the success of a
production are unacceptable. Planned absences (work trips, vacations, etc.) and other
substantial obligations may have a bearing on casting decisions. Should rehearsal
absences become a problem during this production, the Production Team has the
authority to make casting alterations or even eliminations where necessary.
Your cooperation in this matter is greatly appreciated.
~LCP Board of Directors

have read the above and below information about rehearsal times and attendance policies, and agree to
comply;
understand that I may be required to spend up to $40 for personal accessories (costume, makeup, etc.);
understand that I am required to be available for pre-promotion for the show; and
understand that I am required to strike the set with the rest of the cast and crew after the completion of the
run of the show.
Signed:_____________________________________
Date: _______________________
Parent/Guardian Signature (if auditioner is 18 or under)
Costuming : Actors will be required to have their own jazz shoes or equivalent and may also be
asked to provide basic clothing items that can be modified for the show. If these must be
purchased, the total cost will not exceed $40.
Rehearsal Commitment : Rehearsals are expected to begin April 12. The proposed
rehearsal schedule is currently Sunday afternoons 1-5 for choreography and Mondays and
Wednesdays from 6-9 with the director. This may change based on conflicts listed on these
audition forms. Expect 2-3 weeknight rehearsals and 1 weekend rehearsal per week. Not all cast
members will be required at every rehearsal.
Rehearsal Schedule and Conflicts: ON THE FOLLOWING CALENDARS, list your current
commitments/possible conflicts now through performances (July 23-26 and July 30-Aug 2).
***PLEASE BE SPECIFIC! Note: These should not merely be preferences; these should be
significant conflicts (work schedules, vacation times, other show schedules, etc.).
***D O NOT LEAVE THE CALENDAR BLANK .
I F YOU TRULY HAVE NO CONFLICTS , WRITE “ NO CONFLICTS ” OVER EACH CALENDAR MONTH .
BOTTOM LINE: THE MORE INFORMATION YOU GIVE US, THE BETTER!!!
