CHLNet/LEADS Collaborative Webinar The Symbiotic Relationship between Lean and LEADS Monday, June 22, 2015, 12pm-1pm EDT Register yourself and your colleagues for our second session of a webinar series on Leadership Development in Canada. Access to this free, interactive session for CHLNet Network Partners and LEADS Collaborative clients begins with a quick overview of Lean and its use in Saskatchewan. It will then move into a discussion of the degree of fit between the leadership practices of Lean and LEADS. Evidence is showing that LEADS can be used quite effectively to implement and support Lean implementation and health system reform. Speakers Dr. Graham Dickson: Graham Dickson is a senior policy advisor to CHLNet and is an academic advisor to the Canadian Society of Physician Executives. He is also a partner of the LEADS Collaborative, a not-for-profit start-up dedicated to applying LEADS to enhance leadership capacity in the health sector. Graham was the founding Director of the Centre for Health Leadership and Research at Royal Roads University and led the development of LEADS. He does extensive work internationally on leadership development and LEADS. Bonnie Blakley: Bonnie has spent her career working to improve programs and services within the province of Saskatchewan. Today, as co-founder of Lead 2 Lean Solutions Inc., she runs a Saskatchewan-based lean coaching company that assists organizations in transforming their business by increasing quality, safety and morale while reducing costs. In addition, she provides executive coaching services as part of her company Walk with Purpose: Lead with Grace Inc. Betty Mutwiri: Betty is the Director of Organizational Learning and Leadership at Saskatoon Health Region, SK. In this role, she oversees the following programs and services: client and family centered care, leadership and succession development, coaching, change management and respectful workplace. She is the Project Lead for the Saskatchewan Leadership Program, "Leading for Transformation,” a provincial leadership and succession development program for healthcare professionals developed around LEADS and lean management methods.
