LifeFilta ‘Straw’
LifeFilta Bottle model is compact, lightweight, affordable
& simple in use and an essential travel companion or for
daily use… The capacity depends on the water quality to
be filtered.
The LifeFilta Straw model is made from FDA approved High
Grade material & equipped with a Self-Maintainable & Reusable LifeFilta ‘Hollow Fibre’ Filter unit by NanoFiltration
@ 0.002μm (2 nano). The LifeFilta Straw will filter up to
2.000L and much more. The Straw has a cleanable thus
reusable filter system: daily service or after every use
& every 6 months special maintenance, The LifeFilta is
again ready for another 2.000L …
How to Use the Straw…
1. Submerge the inflow opening in the water between the
marks shown on the Straw.
2. Sip through the mouthpiece as one normally sips on a
standard straw
3. After use, drain all remaining water out of the Straw
by evacuating & throwing out the water & dirt. Place the
mouthpiece cover back on the Straw when the system is dry.
The LifeFilta will easily
filter up to 2.000L from:

OPERATING AND MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS
How to use the LifeFilta Straw
• Remove mouthpiece cover and submerge the inflow opening
of the LifeFilta straw in water to a dept no greater than the
high water mark.
• Once submerged, simply sip through the mouthpiece as one
normally sips through a standard straw.
• Suck the excess water from the LifeFilta straw after removal
from water.
• Replace the mouthpiece cover once the LifeFilta straw is
used.
Maintenance Instructions (When Clogged)
To clean and disinfect:
1. Dissolve a water disinfection product such as Oasis tablet
to make a sterilizing solution in a container containing 500 ml
of clean water.
2. Remove the mouthpiece cover and place the LifeFilta straw
in the receptacle so that it is fully submerged. Suck through till
water is received.
3. After 30 minutes, take the LifeFilta straw out of the
receptacle, discard the sterilizing solution from the receptacle
and fill it with 500ml of clean water. Place the LifeFilta straw in
the receptacle so that it is fully submerged for 5 minutes.
4. After 5 minutes, take the LifeFilta straw out of the receptacle
and gently shake water residue off before use.
Before storing away for the next use, the Straw or Bottle filter unit must
be drained/cleaned AFTER EVERY USE and the unit must be completely
dried. Store LifeFilta in a cool & dry place.
Do not strenuously shake or tap the LifeFilta filter unit on a solid object to
evacuate water residu!
