Help Save a Neighborhood Landmark
April 16 Deadline for Fundraising Campaign Join the cause of saving
one of Minneapolis' few
remaining examples of
Classical Revival
architecture, and a
neighborhood treasure.
Help to stabilize the
building's north facade.
Please support the Lake
Harriet Spiritual
Community's efforts to
restore this important
building, now listed on the
National Register of Historic Places.
A Kickstarter campaign is underway to spread the word and raise funding
for this critical work. Visit the project webpage to watch a video on the
history of the building and to learn about the restoration efforts.
The fundraising campaign wraps up on Thursday, April 16 and the
effort is well short of its fundraising goal. Please help, if you can.
Questions can be directed to [email protected].
Save the Date for the Linden Hills Festival Sunday, May 17, 11a.m. to 5p.m.
Linden Hills Park
Mark your calendars for the annual Festival at the
park. Plan to join your neighbors for the day where
you can enjoy live music, a terrific silent auction, the
eclectic art fair and marketplace, fabulous food, pony
rides, bounce houses and games for the kids!
Can you help?
Volunteering at the Festival is a great way to
meet people in the neighborhood. Sign up now to secure your
preferred volunteer shift, scooping ice cream, selling tickets, helping at
the silent auction, or helping the food folks. We love our volunteers!
Click here and register to secure booth space on the Festival grounds
for the art fair & marketplace.
Donate books for the used book sale now through May 15 at the
Linden Hills Coop, 3815 Sunnyside Ave. or Creative Kidstuff, 4313
Upton Ave. S.
If you can donate an item for the Silent Auction, please submit
information here.
Since 1975, the Festival is the one fundraising event of the year for the
Linden Hills Neighborhood Council. Proceeds help us support our community
with grants to local organizations and student scholarships; funding for new
trees at the park and other improvements, and the printing of the Linden
Hills Line newsletter.
Annual Neighborhood Garage Sales are May 16
Back by popular demand, the Linden Hills neighborhood garage sales are
scheduled for Saturday, May 16.
Register your sale to be listed on the widely distributed garage sale map and
