From living in a tent in a Syrian refugee camp to working as radish farmers and surviving on $1 a day in Guatemala, Living on One Productions is pioneering a new style of documentary filmmaking. Our vision for the award winning non-­‐profit is to use immersive storytelling to raise awareness and inspire action around pressing global issues. So far our films and educational videos have been featured on CBS This Morning and Variety and have been called “A Must Watch” by Nobel Laureate, Muhammad Yunus and Director of The Hunger Games, Gary Ross. Learn more: www.LivingonOne.org Marketing & Research Internship We’re looking for a summer intern to lead social media management and to support the research, design, writing and execution of a marketing and social impact plan for our upcoming film on Syrian Refugees. The film, Salam Neighbor, has partnered with the United Nations, Save the Children, and the International Rescue Committee to both maximize the reach of the film and build campaigns to support Syrian refugees in need. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Marketing & Research Internship Description Support social media management for L1’s global brand Help design and write a marketing & impact campaign strategy for Salam Neighbor Build strategic partnerships with schools, churches, conferences and organizations for the distribution of Salam Neighbor & Living on One Dollar Draft grant applications, press releases, content handouts, & website copy Research & present stories relating to U.S. poverty for a video series this fall Expert writing and communication skills Experience building and managing social media campaigns Interest in film production and film distribution Ability to manage a multitude of tasks in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment.
