CONFESSING OUR SIN TOGETHER
Father in heaven, so often we fail to draw near to you because we either believe that
we don’t need you, or we believe that you don’t want us. We feel the weight of our sin,
but we forget that you offer forgiveness and pardon. We are frustrated by our constant
struggle with sin, but we forget that we are being daily molded into the image of Christ.
Forgive us for being reluctant to draw near to you and your Word. Forgive us for so
easily forgetting the good news of the gospel. Remind us that because Christ chose to
dwell among sinful humanity, we may dwell with him for eternity. In the atoning name
of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

Christ Covenant:

able to transform any individual, community, and city.
• We believe the Church is the body of Christ, which is the focused community
of God for gathering and sanctifying His people in this world.
• We believe the Kingdom of Christ is His rule and authority over all things,
which promises to bring peace (shalom) in heaven and upon the earth.
