Yeehaw! Here comes the Auction (and here are all the details you need)!
Howdy partners! The spring auction, Lowry Elementary's biggest fundraiser and best party of the year, will be
here before you know it! Dust off your cowboy hats, book your babysitters, and buy your tickets
now: https://lowrypto.ejoinme.org/?tabid=673026. And don't forget to check the box to save your info - this
will make check-in at the event much faster and will also enter you to win two tickets to the infamous LCR
party (a $150 value)!
And new this year - we are having a really great acapella band that is sure to entertain! Check them out
here: http://www.facevocalband.com/. We hope to see each and every one of you, outlaws and all, at this fun
(and important!) event!
Date: April 18
Time: 6-10 pm
Theme: Pardon Our 'Trail' Dust - Ropin' During Construction
Location: The Soiled Dove Underground (Lowry)
Tickets: $35 each, order them here: https://lowrypto.ejoinme.org/?tabid=673026
FAQs:
 What are some of the auction items that will be available in the silent auction? Tickets to attend the Ellen
show, park hopper passes to Disney Land, weekend getaways, cycling clothing, restaurant gift certificates,
Lowry Swim Club membership/guest passes, Broncos tickets, tutoring, orthodontia, mud run entries,
photography sessions, golf outings, summer camps, copper moscow mule mugs, yoga stuff, jewelry, theater
tickets, and much much more!
 Is there a live auction? Yes, later in the evening there will be a live auction for the classroom projects, as well as
a paddle raise for a few special things.
 What do I wear? We encourage you to put on your best western wear or just come in whatever is comfortable!
 What is a share party? A share party is any type of gathering where anybody (although attendance is limited)
can attend by paying for their "share." Share parties are always top sellers and are a great way to meet new
families. Host a pool party or jumpy castle for the kids, partner with your neighbors on a progressive dinner,
wine tasting, or a game night. Know how to knit or tune bikes - offer up a class. Want to hike a 14er and then
do lunch? The possibilities are endless! If interested in learning more or hosting your own share party, please
contact Erin McDonnell at [email protected] or 303-513-0995.
 Can only Lowry people attend the auction? Absolutely not, the more the merrier! Invite a friend or even bring
Grandma and Grandpa!
 How can I get tickets? While you will be able to buy them the night of, we highly encourage you to buy them in
advance: https://lowrypto.ejoinme.org/?tabid=673026
 I have heard about teacher treasures...what are they? Hiking and lunch, movie and treats, bowling, water
slides, principal for a day! These are just a few past examples of fun outings that teachers and staff members
have offered up for the kiddos. These are highly coveted opportunities for your kids to get to spend time with
their teacher outside of the classroom, so make sure you keep an eye on those bid sheets!
 Do I have to bid on items if I attend? Of course not, although with so many fantastic items it will be hard for you
not to bid on something!
 I don't know very many people at the school yet...should I still come? Yes! The auction is a great time to get to
know other Lowry folks!
 Will there be food and drinks at the event? Did John Wayne wear a cowboy hat? We got ya' covered!
 I want to support the event...how can I help? We could really use some help checking people in and out the
night of the event. Please contact Brian Rosen at [email protected] if you or someone you know can
volunteer! We also still have a bit of time to accept auction items - email Lori Hunter
at [email protected] if you have something in mind or want some ideas. And of course we would love
to have some additional share parties (see above).
