Eligibility: Tournament is open to all area junior tennis players
aged 18 and under.
Entry Fee: Entry fee is a can of unopened tennis balls and $15
entry fee made payable to: Lee’s Summit North HS. Please
mail entry directly to the Tournament Director. Fee must
accompany the entry form to be placed on the tournament draw.

Divisions: Both Boys and Girls divisions; QuickStart 10-under,
Novice, Competitive (JV), Advanced (Var)
Equipment: Junior-sized and Full-sized tennis rackets are available for loan as needed.
Entry Deadline: Entries must be received NO LATER than 5pm on Wednesday, June 17, 2015.
Tournament format: All USTA rules and “the code” will be enforced. Players will be guaranteed a
minimum of two matches. Draw format will be determined by the number of entries in the division.
*Tournament director reserves the right to combine divisions as needed. All Main Draw matches will
consist of a best of three set format (regular scoring) with the third set being determined by a 10-point
match tiebreak. Consolation matches will be a Pro-8 format with regular scoring. 10-under division
will play on the 60’ modified court with QuickStart Orange tennis balls (provided) and modified scoring.

Start Times: First round match times will be e-mailed to all participants on Thursday, June 18. Play
will begin at 3:00pm on Friday, June 19th and continue as needed through Saturday evening,
June 20th. The tournament director may cancel events for which there are not sufficient entries and
may delay or cancel play due to inclement weather. Once you have entered the tournament please
honor your commitment to play, as rescheduling to accommodate other activities is not possible.

Tournament t-shirts: Tournament winners receive a championship event t-shirt. A limited number of
additional SUMMIT SLAM t-shirts will be available on site for $15.

Memorial Tennis fund.
