Jerry Vasto: Pitching Instructor
Luna Baseball & Softball Academy is proud to announce and
welcome Jerry Vasto to our instructional staff. Jerry is
currently
a pitcher
in the
Colorado Rockies Organization.
Jerry was drafted by the Colorado
Rockies in the 24th round in the 2014
MLB First-Year Players Draft.
Jerry Pitched DII Baseball at Felician College where he earned an NCBWA HonorableMention All American.
Jerry was also named Consensus First Team All- East Region (Daktronics, NCBWA &
ABCA), 2014 CACC Pitcher of the Year, 2014 First Team All-CACC,
2013 and 2014 All-CACC Tournament Team,
2013 and 2014 CACC All-Academic Team.
Jerry currently holds the Felician College single
season strikeout record with 79.
Jerry graduated from Henry Hudson Regional
School, Highlands, NJ. He was named All
Division, All Group I, All Shore Conference, and
All County during his HS career.
He also holds Henry Hudson Regional Single
Season Strikeout Record with 111.
