 We hope you can join us for the 18th annual WECU Northwest Raspberry Fes val on July 17th & 18th. Prepara ons have already begun! Featuring an expanded KidZone (inflatables and numerous ac vity sta ons just for kids), two entertainment stages, food booths, “Berry Fair” Art Market (arts and cra s booths), Razz and Shine Car Show, Curt Maberry Memorial 3‐on‐3 Basketball Tournament, and our famous $2 Raspberry Sundae! NEW THIS YEAR! PLEASE READ This year the Raspberry Fes val is changing things up a bit. Our “Berry Fair’ Street Mar‐
ket will be dedicated to juried arts and cra booths and co age industry food products. Applica ons will be reviewed by a jury that will take into accounts, past par cipa on, product type and quality. Items may not be mass produced. We aim to have a large vari‐
ety of offerings. A few spaces will be reserved for our major fes val sponsors which may be commercial vendors. The fes val will have 8‐10 booth spaces available in the kids’ zone. Each vendor in the kids’ zone needs to provide a FREE ac vity for kids. (coloring, mask making, play dough, bean bag toss etc…) The kids’ zone is held in the parking lot right in front of the street market. Those spaces may be run by commercial businesses to promote their business for example banks, insurance and even retail, you just need to offer an ac vity. By provid‐
ing a free ac vity for kids, you will not only enhance the community spirit and involve‐
ment of the Northwest Raspberry Fes val, but a ract more visitors to your booth. There is no easier way to get adults to your booth than by ge ng the a en on of the kids with them. The chamber has a list of ideas if you need help deciding on an ac vity. In order to par cipate in the kids zone you must be a current Lynden Chamber of Commerce member.
