The successful applicant shall
New Haven Community Schools serves a population of
1380 students from pre-Kindergarten through the 12th
grade. Currently, there are approximately 100 students
per grade level. The district offers a comprehensive K-12
curriculum with a full range of special education and
career preparation programs.
New Haven has four buildings that make up the school
district: New Haven Elementary School (K-5),
Endeavour School (a 6-8 school with a K-5 wing), New
Haven High School (grades 9-12), and a newly
renovated Administration and Pre-K building.
The district covers an area of about 50 square miles
with a population of 13,000. It is primarily a rural area.
Currently, the school district is poised for residential
growth. Several of our subdivisions are seeing new
construction, most of that near Endeavour. Residents
and voters in the district continue to be very supportive
of the district and its needs.
