Ken Brummel-Smith, MD
Meet our FSU SeniorHealth physicians:
Dr. Ken Brummel-Smith, Charlotte Edwards Maguire, M.D., Chair and Professor
in the FSU College of Medicine’s Department of Geriatrics; and, Dr. Lisa Granville,
Associate Chair and Professor of Geriatrics.
Their goal is to make FSU SeniorHealth
a partner with the patient and primary
care physician in optimizing the patient’s
health and wellness.

MD
Drs. Brummel-Smith and Granville serve
as co-primary care physicians who provide
health assessment and management for older
adult patients. Among their responsibilities
are:
nConducting initial and periodic comprehensive evaluations;
nDeveloping an integrated care plan;
nDiscussing
nRecognizing, investigating and treating
geriatric syndromes;
nUtilizing
preventive care interventions;
nImproving
adherence to lifestyle changes;
nImproving
patient self-management skills;
and
nMaintaining
‘Helping you keep up your
active lifestyle’
advance care planning;
open lines of communication.
FSU SeniorHealth, operated at the Westminster Oaks Health Resource Center, is open
