Loyal Lion Auto-Renewal Plan Season 2015
Brisbane Lions Australian Football Club (BLAFC)
1. The Loyal Lion auto-renewal payment plan is available to all Brisbane Lions Members.
2. By committing to the Loyal Lion auto-renewal, the member authorises the Brisbane Lions to
arrange a transfer of funds from the members’ nominated credit card for the amount
applicable to the members’ membership type. Members can select for payments to be
deducted either in full, across 10 monthly payments or 6 monthly payments.
3. The Loyal Lion auto-renewal plans rollover the members’ membership and payment each year
for the following season. Payments are applied in the same method as when the member
signed up, except when using the 6 monthly option, which will rollover into the 10 monthly
payments the following year.
4. Loyal Lion auto-renewal payments must be made using Visa or Mastercard only.
5. Loyal Lion auto-renewal: In-Full payment
a. The total payment will be charged on the 30th November each year and roll over to
each successive year.
6. Loyal Lion auto-renewal: 10 Monthly
a. Payments will be spread across 10 months in equal instalments.
b. The first instalment will be debited on 30 November 2014, with further payments on
the 30th (or closest business day) of each following month until 30 August 2015. The
payment plan will then rollover for the following season.
7. Loyal Lion 6 Monthly Instalments
a. Payments will be spread across 6 months in equal instalments (available from March
only).
b. The first instalment will be debited on 30 March 2015, with further payments on the
30th (or closest business day) of each following month until 30 August 2015.
c. Any member on a 6 month payment plan will automatically be rolled over on a 10
monthly instalment plan for the following season.
8. Members will be given at least 14 days’ notice in writing prior to the initial processing of
payment that is set to rollover to the next season. If members do not wish for their
membership and payment to rollover for the following season, they are required to opt out in
writing prior to the first instalment of their 2015 membership being deducted.
9. If the member opts out of the payment plan, the member is just opting out of the payment
plan and will still receive membership renewal information from the Brisbane Lions
Membership Department, unless requested otherwise by the member.
10. If a member wishes to opt out of the payment plan during the season, all outstanding
payments must be complete at the time of opting out.
11. If any payment fails to transfer between institutions on the 30th of any month, further attempts
will be made throughout the month to attempt to clear the fund transfer. The member will be
contacted via SMS or in writing to advise the member of any failed payments.
12. If the members’ debit is returned or dishonoured by the members’ financial institution the
member will be contacted requesting immediate payment. Any fees levied to the member by

the members’ financial institution will be payable by the member. It is the members’
responsibility to ensure that:
a. the account details the member have provided are valid/correct
b. the member have sufficient clear funds available in the nominated account on the
scheduled drawing date
The Brisbane Lions may suspend or cancel the membership if on two consecutive occasions the
members’ financial institution does not honour the payment.
If the member is not up to date with payments, members will not be able to gain access to
games, membership entitlements and Finals and the members’ membership will not be
reinstated until overdue payments are made.
Members applying for the Loyal Lion auto-renewal after the first scheduled payment will have
the total number of lapsed payments deducted upon signing up as a member or receipt of
application and then subsequent payments at each specified date.
All final transactions for the members’ 2015 Membership must be completed within five (5)
working days of 30 August 2015.
If the member believes that a withdrawal has been initiated incorrectly, please contact the
Brisbane Lions membership department on 1800 216 885.
All members signing up on the Loyal Lion auto-renewal before Friday 12 December 2014, will
receive the exclusive Daniel Rich 2015 Member Card, only available while stocks last. Any card
reprints will be processed on available stock.
